We Made it Through Confirmation and First Communion, But Baseball was Rained Out!

Lexie's Confirmation went very nicely! She has turned into such a beautiful young woman and I am so proud of her! We went over to one her friends house afterwards for dessert and I think I finally made a friend around here. Her friends mom is really nice and has a lot of the same interests as I do. Hopefully, we can get together sometime soon. My Lexie is the one in the gray sweater and black pants. Isn't she beautiful! The Cathedral was so dark inside that it was really hard to get good pictures. After the Confirmation and visiting was over I got home around 11:30 p.m. and of course I still had to wash Mallory's dress and finish her veil. It actually all went pretty smooth and I had it done on time this morning. Mallory looked beautiful and she did a wonderful job on her reading at church. Mallory was really nervous but she did a such a good job. What can I say, I have been blessed with 2 of the most gorgeous, thoughtful and kind daughters that anyone could ever ask for. I am so proud of my girls!!!

Here is the back of Mallory's veil

Earl, Mallory and Me My 2 girls together--I made the dress that Mallory is wearing for Lexie's First Communion 7 years ago. Mallory wanted to wear here sisters dress. Me, Lexie and Mallory on Lexie's First Communion---Look how all of us girls have grown!! Only I grew the wrong direction, damn it!!

So the religious ceremonies went well but we got rained out of baseball. So hopefully next week we will have our first game. Tomorrow Mallory has a second ceremony at the church and then on to baseball pictures.
